Did you guys see this new Timex Marlin Sub-Dial Automatic 39MM?

The new watch has a 39mm stainless steel case, handsome black and silver

the Moyota 8217 automatic being the engine beneath this new Marlin's hood.

What does the subdial do? Looks like a regular center seconds hand.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

Very nice looking, although I think it'd look even better without the date squeezing the 3.

Yup, that's one of the things not great about it. But, for the price, I hope these do well, especially for folks that may just be getting into watches, this would make a great first automatic for someone.
