Pair of watches from WW1

Here is two watches from the WW1 era.One's a Depollier water proof case with a 15 jewel Illinois movement.The other is a Elgin with a seven jewel movement and both have wire lug cases the elgin has a black pershing dial.

Your right about the dial named after that general and the star's around the dial there is one for all 48 state's for that time.
