I may have a Fortis Flieger incoming around xmas… not sure yet. Otherwise, Im spending all my money in Cancun. It’s been a heck of a year for my watch box. I need to let things cool off for awhile and start wearing the crap out of what I have.

Nothing definitive, however I’ve been looking at orange PO’s (again) but that’s likely to be a long way down range.

Stop me if you’ve heard this before….I’m trying to slow down
Ha, good luck with that. Slowing down that is...

I have this hopefully incoming before Christmas, or early next year or maybe whenever if our damn postal workers stop striking.

Kickstarter brand Neotype and the first watch in ages that has got me excited about watches again.

Despite its looks, only 40mm dia so hopefully will be very wearable. Got good reviews on YouTube.

Currently being assembled and due dispatch in December Image

If I bought a watch before Christmas the only thing I would get is a new hole ripped into me by the wife.
good to know --- I'm boxing up a watch and sending it to you with Signature required.... hope the wife signs for it.... Cheers and here's to hoping you guys are out of Vaseline...

Blue Serica arriving today, pics to follow. And finally broke down and bought the wife an OP 41 blue dial. She’s watched me buy and sell for years and has been wearing a Fitbit for 2 years. Bought myself some breathing room with this one.

Well…I reached out to Jack at IWW a while back regarding 6309’s. I remember he had a really nice (beauty in the eye of the beholder, since I love patina) 6309-6049 that he had finished , but had not listed. It was completely serviced, new 1:1 AR Sapphire Crystal, sympathetic case refinish (Jack does a great job with this…very subtle while retaining all the crisp lines), gaskets and pressure tested. The patina is a beautiful, creamy yellow; dial and hands match with a slight yellow to the pip dot. Anyway…I really had no intentions of adding another watch, but could not pass up an amazing 6309. I reached back out and he still had it…so the rest is history haha. It’s a 1981 and last year before the switch to the non-Suwa dial later that year.

If you ever decide to sell send me a PM. That's my birth year and they don't show very often. In fact, not much ever available outside of quartz or Rolex for an '81

Nothing at the moment for me but I did buy a 41mm Tudor Royal for my wife for Christmas, after the hundreds of watches that have come and gone I finally bought something other than a Swatch or microbrand for her. She wanted a Datejust but that is not in the cards but this should tick all of the boxes for what she likes in watches.

As far as me, I am still in the honeymoon with the BB Pro and boy do I love it. It wears great for its size and is running -0.2 seconds per day.
Prior to that I received the Baltic Peter Auto Tricompax - which is another hit for Baltic, oh and the U50 Pro showed up as I was trying to figure out how to pay for the others. May have to consolidate soon.
Regards
Barry

That Royal is no slouch. Really liked it when I tried it on a few months back. Was going to be my next purchase until the Sub popped in unexpectedly.

I had a couple of day drinks on Friday and made an offer on something I don't need, and it was accepted, so I guess I have something coming too
