Aftermarket bracelet - Tudor Snowflake

Post by andy tims » Fri Aug 12, 2022 3:37 am

I'm after an Oyster bracelet for my Snowflake. Has anyone bought one for theirs, or similar vintage (1976) Rolex Sub?

Thanks in advance.

If you are ok with straight end links, old school style, the Forstner beads-of-rice is a nice option. I’m impressed with their quality, especially for the price. The links are attached with a single screw. The standard clasp is an old school type, but they make a nice milled clasp, similes to modern Omega with twin buttons. It has many micro adjustment holes.

I had one on my BB58 and like them so much I’m considering one for my new Speedy.

Kinda following Hoppy’s suggestion, if you’re OK with straight end links, Marc at Long Island Watches has a 20 mm tapering to 16 mm at the clasp. I’d describe quality as same as Strapcode, probably from the same factory. Here are a couple pics of it on my 38.5 mm Seiko solar for comparison.

If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

Thanks, but straight end links are a no go.
