Spinnaker Spence!

Post by Torrid » Sun Jul 17, 2022 8:21 pm

Not going to lie, this only got my attention because of the name. 40mm, less than 11mm thick and Spence on the dial. I've got to have this just because it has my last name on it.

I'm usually not a fan of red watches, but I like the look of that.

Yeah I definitely would go for the red. I think it will be available in green along with the usual black and blue.

It really seems to tick every single box Heath. :)

You have your last name on the dial, those amazing vintage hands, not to mention a
red that is off the charts awesome also. I swear it's the perfect tone of red also by
the way. With their being this nice dark, almost crimson feel to it. ...AND it even
looks to match your car ! :o 8-)

This watch definitely hits on all 'cylinders'. ;) Thanks a ton for the look, and I really
hope that you can pick this beauty up !

The early order with discount is out today. Debating picking it up. I haven't bought a new watch in a long time.

Oh man look at this version. I think this is the hickory brown but it looks much lighter on the website.

I went with the red. I've never had a red watch.

I actually like the Hickory Brown and Red. I don't see them on Spinnaker's site. Are they discontinued?

Oh boy I missed that you actually had this land at your front door already Heath ! :o
Genuinely is breathtaking from this side of things with that red no doubt. :headbang:
It's even more beautiful than in that first stock picture also imho. Because here in
your picture it looks like it has the whole chameleon thing happening. Going from
one red to the next honestly. It's pretty incredible, and between watching it go from
a deep red, to a lighter, to even burgundy, you must be on cloud 9. Because it seems
like one heck of a first red watch sir. ;)

Plus that's just the color, but you also have the extraordinary hands, and markers.
Along with stunning color they are too. Not to mention gorgeous bezel, bracelet,
everything ! ..Holy cow, wonderful find Heath. A SPECTACULAR Spence congrats 2
U there !!!

P.S. How is it actually having a watch with your name on it? :)

Here you go; ... https://www.spinnaker-watches.com/collections/spence

When I initially visited the site (a few minutes ago) there was a pop up window offering a 25% discount on a full priced watch.

They might have sold out of this first run already. I don't have tracking yet but I have the order in. 25% off was for the first 24 hours according to the email I got yesterday at 9:30 am CST.

I don't have it yet but the Facebook ad got my attention. I don't know that I would have looked so closely if I hadn't seen the name. Being 40mm with 10.9mm thick definitely sealed the deal though.

:o  Oops, my bad as they used to say Heath. I jumped the gun it
sounds like. But when it does arrive I’m thinking it will live up to, and
even surpass your expectations actually sir.

Island Watch has them for full retail. 25% off direct from Spinnaker is definitely the way to go. I like them, but not sure that I could bring myself to spend $650. (or even close to $500. with the discount) on one. The Hickory Brown is pretty sharp though.

I believe it will be available in green as well as the standard black and blue.
