New Watch Day! (Haven't said that in a while...)
Been pretty quiet on the collecting front of late but I've been eyeing Sangin for a while and caught one of their Merlins on a recent release and it showed up last night. Short version - I'm really impressed, it looks and feels extremely well made - bordering on the small side (I don't know the dimensions but it feels like 39mm). Great CS/responsiveness too Sorry no time to write any sort of full review but happy to answer questions if you guys have any
Pics...
(Pretty securely packed )

I dig it. It fits you perfectly; congrats.

Congratulations! The Merlin is a solid piece and I was close to grabbing one too. Having owned the “dark Merlin” in DLC black, it was a little small on my large wrist, but a well made watch. Enjoy yours.

Yeah wow, it looks phenomenal on you Anthony, plus looks incredible in
general to tell the truth.
You have to love the high end looks of these, wow, really nice, and the
solar theme is neat also. ..I mean it feels like a timeless dive watch
from the past, but you have it solar powered. Not to mention looks to
be very nicely finished as well. Seriously, at times it almost looks like
it is Titanium. Then a second later you notice the cool polished sections
here, and there. It’s really nice ! ..Even the bezel has a kind of Oris
turbine feel, wow.
Add a dial that draws you in with it’s beautiful hands, and markers. Along
with clean, non cluttered feel, and you really have yourself a triumphant
return to watch collecting here. A MAGICAL Merlin congrats to you !!!

That’s the best looking Sangin I’ve seen. Perfect size on you.

Looks great & I'm a big fan of solar watches.

Congrats! I had a dark Merlin briefly and it was very well made. I just couldn’t get used to the reflective solar dial. But the overall watch was fantastic - loved the lume and the crisp bezel.
