New Damasko DC86/2 & DC76/2

Post by spring-diver » Sun Jun 26, 2022 4:38 pm

These launched on June 20th.

All new refined dial, bezel and new straps

I’m really digging the all black DC86/2

Here’s a before and after

I like the new dial without the outlined sub dials. It’s easier to read the main hands. I prefer the new number font as well.

What are your thoughts?

Going to have to say I like the OG better. The text on the dial kills it for me.

Haven’t read the article, did they finally give these decent lume? It’s the only reason I don’t own another Damasko. The one I had (DH 1.0) was shameful in that department.

Way too much writing on the dial. Even so, they look like nicer watches than the average damasko.

I love central minute counters but don't need that to be on the dial
other than that, pretty cool

Yeah wow, I like them a lot Shannon. :) 8-) The original ones were awesome,
but it’s refreshing to see a brand take a risk, and change things up a little as
Damasko is doing with these. ..I mean they still have the similar bold, along
with tactical personality. But they really opened things up, as well as refined
the feel of them as you said. ;)

Some really cool news for sure. ..Thank you so so much for the report !!!

Like those a lot. Less text would be even better.

Pretty nice, but at over $4K I'd probably lean towards the IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph for not much more (assuming the traditional IWC discount)

I see Damasco has gone to the Rolex school of unnecessary dial text! Although, Tudor and a few others seem to have gone to that school as well! I prefer less is more dial, although, these new watches have upped Damasco's game.

I’m sure most of you would prefer less text on the dial

So I snatch this off the DC86/2 thread at WUS.

I think it looks good Image
