Deep Blue’s Speedograph 1000
Deep Blue’s Speedograph 1000
Have you guys had a chance to see Deep Blue’s Speedograph 1000?
There actually look to be nine versions of the watch with everything
from checkered black enamel dials, to full blue, red, white, and even
yellow dials. With just a few of the many other details including 44mm
stainless steel cases, unidirectional rotating bezels with ceramic inserts,
sporty straps, as well as Sellita SW200 too.

Some nice looking combos there, and a few duds. Having the hands match the dial color, especially the white one, makes legibility poor.

Blue with yellow for me (although it might be black with yellow); thanks for posting these, Tom.

These look great, and for under 200.00 with a selita sw200 movement, that's just ridiculous!!

Blue/Black, Black/Black, and Yellow Black are all boss.
Price point is silly cheap.

that is almost how much a "real" sw200 cost. so i bet they are providing a knock-off version. deep blue is not known for their customer service at all.

I saw that; if the case was bit smaller I might have given it a go (lugs look pretty long, too).

Can’t thank all of you guys enough just for giving your two cents on
these !!!
Flaws, and all these seem pretty impressive right?! Especially with
Swiss automatic behind the eye-catching design. It really is close
to being ridiculous, or silly like you guys are saying. Really, it’s
tough to remember seeing that much better of a deal with a Swiss
auto inside come to think of it.
Add in all of the variations, and it’s, or they are real home runs.
It honestly was so much fun hearing what everyone had to say
about these.
Re: Deep Blue’s Speedograph 1000
Speedograph name implies there some sort of Motorsport related complication. This is just a dive watch with a checkered dial unless I am missing something ?
Nothing says auto racing like a helium release valve.

Re: Deep Blue’s Speedograph 1000
It doesn’t seem like you missed anything Nick.
I think the watch basically is just a sequel to their Rally Diver. And the
checkered chapter ring brings in a cool vintage vibe. Plus a hint of a
sporty racing feel.
But other than that, all I can think of with the name, or something
similar I mean, is the Yema Speedgraf. So maybe it’s a play on that.
In any case, great observation sir. Thanks so much for making it !!!

Noticed these and was actually thinking of trying one out... But I've never seen a 6 hour bezel before and can't imagine why it would be used. It's bugging me for some reason...

Yes deep blue is exactly that: just ridiculous
Sorry if I’ve hurt anybody’s feelings - I had a few from the brand and they were “invicta-like” at best

Re: Deep Blue’s Speedograph 1000
I have black dial, silver dial, blue dial and white dial divers. I was always thinking of getting a red or yellow diver but don't want to spend a lot on one thinking I'll grow tired of it and sometimes those red and yellow divers are tough to sell.
I think this DB might fit bill for price and specs. The problem is I can't make up my mind between the red and yellow dial.
What does everyone out there think?

bezel is as dumb as the Speedograph name...
