New Fortis Stratoliner S-41

Post by AtomicTom » Sun May 15, 2022 10:02 am

Hey everyone, did you by chance see the new Fortis Stratoliner
S-41 recently?

This watch has specifications which include a 41mm case, light,
or dark gray, blue, and white textured dials, nice stainless steel
bracelets, along with leather aviator straps, plus the WERK 17
Stratosphere-tested Column Wheel Manufacture Chronograph
automatic movement too.

Just a few pictures...

I sound like a broken record….I like it, but the price not so much.

B- side of my record….My list is full, finish the list

One of the nicer Fortis watches I've seen, but the lack of hour markers might be a bit problematic.

Agreed, like the watch, but not prepared to pay this much for a Fortis. Been a few years, but I think my B52 GMT was just over $1k.

Fortis starts with the same letter as the word I muttered when I saw the price. The movement looks nice but the dial is nothing special. I don't get it.

Like it, but when I saw the price. These guys must be smoking from the watch makers crack pipe.

For $5K you think they could have figured out solid end links.

 I am with you guys as usual, the prices always seem to put a real
damper on things. We see the watch, and are immediately happy to
see it. However, a few seconds later we are often disappointed about
pricing that is often crazy. And not the crazy cool kind of cool, but
rather the uncool kind.

At least it’s neat to see, as well as talk about though. :)

Can’t thank everyone enough for joining in, as well as telling it like
it is !!!

It may be a manufacture movement, but looks like a plain off the shelf one. Why even bother with a display back?

What's the significance of the first 1.5 hours of the hour register and the first 30 seconds of the sweep seconds track being colored?
