Metamask is commonly referred to as a browser or software wallet. It's primarily been an ethereum wallet its since also branched into other layer 1's(bsc,ftm,avax..).it allows you to send and receive ethereum, and other tokens. Easy to use.

Now the ass is starting to fallout of this crypto shit, it'll be interesting to see when these grey dealers stop accepting it as a form of currency, or they start incrementally increasing the crypto $ to offset devaluation.

From what I can see, anything that is hedged against speculation and contemporary/hip carpet bag/snake oil salesmen is always going to be interesting...
