Marathon on a SS bracelet

Post by Wario406 » Wed Nov 24, 2021 8:23 pm

my son, an "inactive Marine" bought me a Marathon TSAR for my b'day a couple years ago. I really like it because its a tank - but, admittedly it wears really small and is not my fav EDC. After some shopping around - we came across a factory SS bracelet with an EGA. I cut a deal with the PO and am happy to have it on the watch. It now wears totally different and I love it. Seems like this is what it needed to change the wrist feel. It’s now a fav. Thanks Jr!

It’s amazing what a change of strap can do for a watch

Wow, that looks phenomenal Wario ! :o

It’s something how a new strap, or bracelet can make a watch
feel. Or really transform into something else entirely right?! :salute:
This Marathon genuinely seems like it belongs on a bracelet.
Because honestly it matches up with the tank-like personality
of this marvel, and just looks plain cool, or rather amazing
to be more accurate. ;)

A GIANT congrats there to you !!! ..Thanks so much for the look !

IMO, Marathon has a phenomenal bracelet. That's how I prefer to wear my GSAR.

The bracelet really makes it rock. I’ve always believed that if these had been made in the ‘60s they would be the mil issue grail!
