Yeah, the blue is nice. With slightly shorter L2L, normal lugs, and a countup bezel I would be a buyer.

That picture perfectly captures why I don’t like that rubber stamp. It’s brand new and it already looks dirty with fuzz sticking to it.

While I do like this and enjoy a NATO, not sure if this would have any staying power as I'd grow tired of NATOs if the watch didn't have a bracelet option. Seems like good competition for Sinn U50
I love the way my U50 wears but the Sinn’s 47mm lug to lug is a lot shorter than this Tudor’s 52mm. Even the U1’s L to L is just 50.

The solid bar extends to the end of the lugs, pushing the strap out even further making it appear to wear awkwardly.

For what it’s worth, I found the standard Pelagos to wear significantly larger than a U1, despite the case being 2mm smaller. That’s part of why I’m worried about that L2L. The blue does look good though.

Finally get a decent blue and they do this. Exclusionary would be an understatement.

Love it

Perfect shade of blue. I’m really digging the new bezel & crown design as well. Like the regular Pelagos, Tudor did a great job of having matching bezel/ crown “teeth”. The countdown bidirectional bezel and 52mm L2L is not an issue for me either. Pretty much the same size as my EZM9. With the thin case back and low integrated lug bars, this should be the ultimate Nato/Zulu strap watch. Sure drilled lugs, regular spring bars, count up bezel and a bracelet option would have made it perfect. But it is what it is and I do like it. My only real gripe is why Tudor still uses grade 2 Ti. For almost $4k it should be grade 5 Ti.

I'll go against the grain here and say that, if I didn't have a job that required me to wear a suit to work, this could be a "one and done" watch for me. I like the size, non date, fixed bars and would love a package like that to wear on a nato strap. Seems perfect to me.

I'm on two lists ATM, second jeweller I went to said all previous enquiries had been tyre kickers (wanted to see the watch 1st) . Filled out a form, and told the sales person don't bother showing the watch, call me & I'll give you my CC details over the phone. Let's see how this pans out. Should be a fun Summer watch.
