It's really amazing how nice of a job Certina does with their watches.
Seriously, you see this beauty coming from a mile a way, and realize
that it is a Certina on the wrist. From the outstanding bezel, to epic
dials, the watch exudes class, and just gives you a wonderful slice of
history as well. Even the case-back is something to behold to
tell the truth ! I mean it's not every day that you would actually
want to take a watch off, and look at the case-back right?!

Yup, this will be one that is going to be tough to take off. ..What a
great get, and just addition to the collection. Hope you really enjoy !

I particularly like the domed acrylic crystal..

Nice warm feel and it plays with the view of a dial in a really fun way..

I bought a ph200m when they first came out. I was concerned about the protective coating on the hesalite crystal after hearing the horror stories of damage done by polishing the hesalite crystals on Max Bill watches, which also feature a protective coating. I finally got a response from Certina USA, assuring me that it was safe to polish the crystal with Polywatch. Never had a chance to test it as the protective coating did its job while I owned it. Enjoy your new watch.

I’ve never really found Hesalite is such a pain to live with as some people say. I quite like it. Never needed to polish it out, yet......
