Wow! It's weird that with all those heavy hitters I zeroed in on that Zodiac. The Lip is interesting, never even heard of them before.

Very cool. Some reason, I am drawn to that first Omega.

That's quite a GTG... some lovely pieces there..

Hard to chose a favourite, but the Polprof and the ALS have to be contenders..

Amazing watches! That omega world timer is hot is it just really bad lighting or is that Daytona all jacked up?

After all these years, I still want a Ploprof knowing full well it'd probably fit like shit.

You might be surprised.
Internet is littered with people saying “it fits better than you think” or “try it to believe it”

I tried one on and was sold. Literally.

It shouldn’t work, but it does

I'd consider it if the bubble pops, but I won't play paying 50-100% markups on watches in 2 yrs.

It’s tuna- like in that it’s big and bold but short lug to lug.

Nothing else like it. That and the world timer were the most passed around, handled and tried on.

Like most GS, it was 10x better in person.

Lovely photos, thanks for sharing.

The PloProf falls into the category of just being a beautiful piece of industrial design, regardless of how it succeeds at being a watch.

Grand Seiko is killing it with their GMT lineup across the board. Great options in quartz, auto and spring drive.

I’m in the “it’s all about the ploprof” camp.
Stan, don’t you know the first law of physics? Anything that’s fun costs at least eight dollars”
-- Eric Cartman

“To absent friends, lost loves, old gods, and the season of mists; and may each and every one of us always give the devil his due.”
― Neil Gaiman, The Sandman

I bought a cheap watch from a crazy man
Floating down canal
It doesn't use numbers or moving hands
It always just says now
Now you may be thinking that I was had
But this watch is never wrong
And If I have trouble the warranty said
Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move On
