I’m not usually a fan of pointer dates, but Damn! Seiko nailed it with this one. Any chance of a lume shot?rockmastermike wrote: ↑Thu Aug 05, 2021 5:40 amTrue GMT, sculpted dial, great finishing….Seiko has done an exceptional job with these new Sharp Edge GMT’s

If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

They really did, this fills a gap in Seiko lineup and does it well.Henryj wrote: ↑Thu Aug 05, 2021 8:35 amI’m not usually a fan of pointer dates, but Damn! Seiko nailed it with this one. I don’t have a lume shot yet, however I tested it (of course, lol) and can say the hands a pretty good including the GMT pointer. The hour markers have small lume plots in the outer edges of the dial and while the lume is good the plots are small so not much surface area like there is in the hands.
My mid-50’s eyes are good with the lume situation
I’ll work on a like shot soon

Just tried out my Seamaster rubber strap on my Aqua Terra, perfect fit. Kind of liking it.
