Help me value my friend's bro's LV up for grabs

Post by sierra11b » Sun Jul 18, 2021 5:48 pm

So yeah, the conversation about buying my friend a watch in the <$1000 budget, prompted his brother to sell his LV, which apparently was bought by him at Jared years ago, and hasn't been worn according to his text since March '20. I'm almost certain it hasn't been serviced either... My best friend was there at the time he purchased the watch, and could notarize a letter saying as such if it's good for anything.

My question is what MK series in the watch based on the photo. Any help would be appreciated.

He said he'll get me more photos but I thought series was imperative in how to list the watch.

I’m certain that if it’s legit, he won’t need to list it anywhere…

Pretty sure am M series is a 2009.

It's not a lime insert/flat 4 or a very very late example of the reference, so it will command "normal LV" money rather than the absurd price of a Y/very early F serial or a Random.

You should probably blur the guy's serial number. Fakers love to use authentic serials.

It’s legit. I even remember when he bought it because he rubbed it in my face, although my friend was actually present. Been dangling it over my head ever since.

Hah. Well, he can still get a pretty penny for it.

Ok, so how do I list it?

Mk 5-37-2 with the floating cock ring… Han’s ghost itself will give you a reach around with wire transfer.

Please help me out with the first listing sentence.

M series 16610LV

This was before the start of the random serial number crap. I think it dates to somewhere between 2007-2009.

Thank you.

Whats nuts is date of sale is 11/25/2011. I specifically remembering it had sat in the case for awhile when he purchased. Crazy to think those days weren’t that long ago. And confirmed no service.

If it was a 2009 production, a 2011 purchase is easily plausible.

Sounds good. If that’s the case I can put you/your friend into direct contact with him.
