Thanks Brice. It’s been a spectacular trip with horse rides and fly fishing on the North Fork. WiFi and cell service are hard to come by up here, i can’t share too many pics at this time.

I’m actually just the opposite. I’ve not gone freshwater fishing in maybe 20 years. All my gear is salt water focused.

The best thing about salt water fishing is the bait. Live eels, sand worms, mackerel - if you thought getting your kid to put a worm on a hook was a challenge, you haven’t seen anything yet!

My fishing day starts with fishing for bait. I’ll use light gear with a sabiki rig to get a bucket full of mackerel, then use those to go after big striper.
