SOTC - TOP 4
Re: SOTC - TOP 4
Paul, this is such a neat topic, as well as thread, it's not even funny.
The top 4s of everyone here are simply astonishing actually !!!
And you know, have actually been grappling with your question for days
now trying to figure what would be in my top 3, or 4. However, as each
day went by I just couldn't put a certain 3, or 4 on top. I know it may
sound odd, but I enjoy so many of my watches, and have such appreciation
for each one that it's getting near impossible for me to choose what might
be the top few.
It's almost as if the watches have their own personalities to me, and I look
at them in different, yet actually kind of equal ways. ..I mean I will look at
this one, and say, yes 'this' one is in my top, and then say 'no' wait, 'this'
one, 'no' 'that', and 'this' one ! ..And then before you know it, I'll be
picking many watches. It's funny I know, but it's sort of impossible for me
to choose a top 4.

Re: SOTC - TOP 4
Top 4 is tough because I have watches I absolutely love but rarely wear, especially the watches I have on bracelet that have barely gotten any wear during Covid when I am not at the office.
If by Top 4 we mean the four I wore the most over the past year, then it would be the following:
Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Barakuda LE
Rolex 126710BLRO GMT Master II Pepsi
Rolex Submariner 116610LV (Hulk)
Rolex Sea Dweller 50th Anniversary
If by Top 4 we mean the four I would keep as a 4-watch collection if push came to shove (at least today, ask me again tomorrow), then it would be the following:
Patek Philippe Nautilus 5726 (as my pseudo dress watch)
Rolex Submariner 116610LV (Hulk) (as my bracelet watch)
Rolex Sea Dweller 50th Anniversary (as my rubber band watch on RubberB with Rolex clasp)
Omega Seamaster Diver 300m 007 Edition titanium OR Sinn U50 SDR (fully tegimented) (as my nato and water or ranch watch)

The most cherished in no particular order:
My birth year watch
My first watch
My favourite military watch
My travel watch
And because it’s a dive watch forum, my most worn watch and daily beater when on duty

I wear four different watches a day.

I bought a cheap watch from a crazy man
Floating down canal
It doesn't use numbers or moving hands
It always just says now
Now you may be thinking that I was had
