I gotta believe Doxa could slap their version together relatively quickly since it seems most of the parts they would use are already in existence on current models. However it's been radio silence from them at WUS with any definitive info/timing.

Actually, hoping to hear something from Doxa soon; that dial shot looks very good.

First pic up making it's way around da interwebz. Some dude named Mike Stockton on Instagram via WUS, and now here. Hopefully permitted pilfering...

I guess if you can’t buy both, you can’t go wrong with Doxa. I’m waiting for Doxa to release something.

Another buyer named Forsythjones from WUS. Looks like the faux vintage lume is applied indices. The rest is paint.

edit: jmo but the rubber straps look like shit when they aren't formed for the case. Throw an aftermarket straight endlink bracelet on it and call it a day if you're going that route.

I like it, except the bezel numbers not in the middle. They are off centered.

Rubber strap looks like shit. Definitely a candidate for an Isophrane.

That's an option when you purchase the watch.

its weird you can't pick. you actually have to contact them to change it. sounds like it leaves room for error instead of actually making it a check box on the order. :shrug:

that is the downfall of that strap. i owned one for a day and I couldn't get over the blunt edge of the strap. :banghead:

I think you can ask for the Isofrane strap in the notes portion of the order;

but checking a box would be much easier and clearer when the order is placed.

It’s just the angle of the photographed watch. Look at all the hash marks. They are all equidistant.

The best version of that strap is from Zodiac. Their’s has rounded ends. Brice has a few and is a fan.

That said, I agree, that watch is screaming for an ISO.

Unfortunately, original BestFit are the only one to wear. I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to reproduce those.

I probably should have said “modern reinterpretation” of the tropic design.

Those Bestfit are getting pricey! I’m also surprised no one has started reproducing that design. It seems obvious most people would prefer a finished end on their strap instead of a blunt cut.

I ordered one soon after they were released. Wanted a Doxa 300T but the price of the Synchron was too good to pass up. Got the Isofrane as well because it’s so comfortable. Really look forward to having it in hand.
