cool livery on era motorsports lmp2 at daytona 24

Post by jtbenson » Sun Jan 31, 2021 8:56 am

not sure if anyone else has been watching the d-24, and noticed this, but very cool livery on the UK based era motorsports lmp2 car.
(watch content: bremont is a sponsor...)
6 year old owen from ottawa had his entry chosen as winning design in an open submission contest.
good on era for keeping exceedingly faithful to the original design (including crayon texture and outside the lines)!

Cool to hear the drivers talk about winning the Rolex and if they wear it or put it away.

It’s funny how many parts and pieces go into these programs. My shop is across the street from Hardpoint EBM, who campaigned a 911 in GTD last weekend. They contracted me to build a few things for them, including a support bracket for their refill tank. The tanks are on digital scales and they need them to be tough for fast refuels, but the scales are delicate. I built this bracket and strut rod for them a week ago. This is pics from the race....
