Gold dial Seamaster?

Hello all,
I was in a thrift shop over the weekend in a high end of town and saw a gold dialed Seamaster with a display back. From where I was I don’t doubt that it’s authentic, I just wonder if this is a common watch as soon as I picked it up it started sweeping so at least it works. I couldn’t get the best look at it cause my lady was in a rush to get home but from what I could see it looked nice. Stainless bracelet, Seamaster display back. Any thoughts on if it’s worth picking up for cheap? It’s a smallish watch, just wondering, looked good from what I saw...
