If you had to pare down your collection to 2 watches.......
Re: If you had to pare down your collection to 2 watches.......
Could never do two, but if there was a gun to my head, these two.
with the 2254.50 coming in if there was a third.

Won't do 2, so this would be the 3.

Is your Arktis an old 203 or a new version?unsub073 wrote:Won't do 2, so this would be the 3.

Paring down to two would be tough, but if push came to shove...

You're the one with the nitrous tanks. Just sayin'

These are my two. I basically primarily wear these two anyway (when I’m not wearing my Apple Watch)
Though I wouldn’t mind completing the trifecta and adding this ridiculous beast.

For all the crap I’ve given Rolex lately, I’d keep these:

I can’t cut it down to two because the Nomos is an anniversary gift from my wife, the Apollo 8 is in memory of my father, and the Avenger Blackbird was a50th birthday present. And my two Rolexes aren’t going anywhere.

"Willard" and SCVS003 for me. I can't believe it's been 15 years since I bought the SCVS003!

I just realized my answer from nearly three years ago was remarkably consistent... glad I've stayed the course .

JLC Duometre (prob GMT version)
I don’t consider a beater watch necessary. If I’m ever doing something I can’t do in the EL2, I just go without a watch.
I have always wanted the Duometre, but it’s hard for me to justify a “dress watch” that pricey since it wouldn’t get a ton of wear. But if I’m limiting myself to two watches, well then that takes care of that.

At this point have 4 but if I had to these 2 would do just fine..

I have two sentimental pieces, a Breitling and Omega, that I’d never sell so those two.
If I exclude those two, out of my 40+ watches it’ll be two of those top faves.
ExpII. BLNR. Pelagos FXD. Omega NTTD. Panerai 973. Sub LV is a goner for sure.
I’d probably lean
ExpII
Pelagos FXD (tough call)
Tough call.

These two are what I have left now (conveniently ignoring some older affordables/gifts)
Re: If you had to pare down your collection to 2 watches.......
Revisiting this, I'd still go with the Sub, and Exp II. Although, I would not want to go with a 2 watch collection. lol.

Didn’t have to check my post from 2019 as I still have and enjoy both.
