Hey all!
My name's Dan, been lurking here for a bit and I think this board is going to be a good fit... you appear to be my kind of people. I have an account at WUS and some of the rules and practices there have always mystified me, specifically the no guns in photos rule. I'm a huge gun nerd and my interest in both guns and watches has always felt similar to me. Mechanical objects, precisely engineered for a purpose. I have a pretty average collection, but I look forward to spending some time here. Here's a pic from my last semester abroad:

Looks like we used the same model watch in the Military
Got it at the ships store when in the Navy a very long time ago in the 1980's used it for the 22 years I was in
On the wrist when I was a hell of a lot younger I use River Rat due to we in the brown water Navy use to call our self's river rats.
