Nice vintage inspired piece with a solid Valjoux movement. Very cool!

You mite be right I thought that was a fair price until I checked out what a vintage one this one is coping sold for 300 bucks if you wait for one with a fair price to show up on feabay. This one did need a service but even with that cheaper than the 2000 price tag.

I didn't realize the Le Jour brand had been revived.
I don't see a country of origin printed on the dial and didn't see anything mentioned about it in the W&W article. I assume that means these are probably MIC?

This.
Instantly reminded me of modern Seiko 6138-8002.

Apparently Fred at Bernhardt is going to be the distributor for Le Jour. I’ve heard his CS is excellent.

I bought a Bernhardt long ago. Fred was definitely excellent to work with.

Gnomon has them as well. Anders is also top notch in my experience . He had to help me when the Evant I bought came with a loose movement clamp and he fixed it right away with free shipping to/from Singapore.

Their LJ-MI-002 is pretty close to the Sinn 144 that I have...a smidge bigger. The Sinn is $2280.
Le Jour wants $2000...for a MIC watch, that seems a bit much.

It’s a 7750. They’re all at least 15mm thick.

I hardly think 2mm in height makes it unwearable. My Sinn 103 has to be at least 16mm thick and it wears great.
