Ball Fireman NECC
Ball Fireman NECC
Has anyone seen this in person? I completely missed this one and I kind of like it, other than the odd hour hand.

That hour hand is horrible, they use it on another watch that also has a round date cyclops. Awful.
They should put the hands from the Ball for BMW.
And to answer your question, no sorry I haven't so can be of no help whatsoever.

I was excited until I saw the hour hand. It's pretty bad. At least they didn't cock up the date window or put a cyclops on it.james80 wrote:That hour hand is horrible, they use it on another watch that also has a round date cyclops. Awful.

I hate it! I can't believe I just searched for and looked at pictures of one, it's terrible, why would you use a round cyclops especially on a watch with square markers, and that hand, what the hell is that supposed to be.

It looks worse on that watch.

The Fireman Racer looks really good in person, IMHO. Feels well built, too.justsellbrgs wrote:james80 wrote:I hate it! I dig it. Not sure about the 15-minute track on the chapter ring. But that's just me being picky.

That's a lot of watch if it has MSRP of $1600. Ball watches are great quality pieces, they just have quirky characteristics that tend to attract or repel people.
I like that this one has normal lugs and not the stupid double screwbar system and awful crown guard.

That's what drew me to it. Other than the hour hand there is nothing weird about it.streetracer101 wrote:That's a lot of watch if it has MSRP of $1600. Ball watches are great quality pieces, they just have quirky characteristics that tend to attract or repel people.

Re: Ball Fireman NECC
If the MSRP is correct, that's one of the better deals out there. I might snag one of the white dial variants if that's the case. This would kill on a brushed bracelet or isofrane.CGSshorty wrote:That's what drew me to it.
