Re: Hello
Welcome James. Digging the Pogue. I've got that model also and it ain't going anywhere!
Om had a rough start but he's hanging in there. Some folks might say you'd need a thick skin to deal with folks around these parts. Guess that's about right! Get a few drinks in us and no telling what will happen next. Seriously though enjoy DWC.

Re: Hello
I love mine and it's not going anywhere either. I got via an fantastic act of kindness by a true gentleman on another forum. He'd owned it from new and offered it free to a good home. I was luckily first to PM and sent it to Spencer to restore. I'd wanted one for a long time and this one is very special.BSears wrote:Welcome James. Digging the Pogue. Beautiful beautiful watch there ! Always liked those.
Sounds like you have some great interests, and hobbies

Re: Hello
Awesome Photos!
Mine was an VIII. I loved them both but after the WRX I gave them up... I got more speeding tickets going 5mphs over the limit than I knew what do with. As you can imagine I got profiled big time in them... Probably didn't help that I have bronze look-at-me Volks on one and gold on the STi.
Been 7 years since I owned either and I haven't been pulled over since. I drive a Tacoma but still have a lead foot.

Re: Hello
Seems I got carried away with racing pictures and forgot the watch pics:
My first Seiko, worn for years and years and years
Seiko 6139 that's been in my family from new, prior to restoration by Spencer
and after
My Grandfather's Rolex when I got it
and now
Need an Art canvas for this:

Great photos!
Rallying looks like such a blast, I've only done a bit at a rally school here on the Wet Coast, but it was tremendous fun
Also, damn nice watches :cheers;
