We start our WIS's young....

Post by Tallguy » Tue Jun 15, 2010 10:12 am

Thanks to the kindness of Daniel Joo, a fellow WIS who spends most of hit time over on WUS but is also a member here (dsjoo I think?), Tallguy Jr. was the beneficiary of some "WIS-love" as is often practiced here on this forum. Daniel sent this unsolicited, free of charge:

Should be just the thing to get this little tough-guy through the summer and on into third grade this fall!

Thanks Dan! (BTW, his wrist is already bigger than mine at over 7" at 8 1/2 years old!)

In all fairness, Daniel is a WUS friend, but the WIS spirit is strongest here for sure!

That is an awesome gesture and looks like your son is pretty happy. Nicely done all the way around.

I hate this kid :raised:

Kidding aside though, that is pretty cool! I dont think there`s a harder test than being on an 8 year olds wrist, that G has some pain incoming

Now that is a face of joy!

How many times did he hit the light button?

I bet he has 2 more by the end of summer.

My dad was the one who started me on the WIS path, and I intend to do the same with my kid's. It's an appreciation that not everyone "gets", but when you do, you can't not. If you know what I mean...
