Seiko Forum?
Seiko Forum?
Is there enough interest here to create a Seiko sub forum in the Asian watch forum?

Re: Seiko Forum?
There really isn't that much traffic here. All those sub forums just diffuse traffic.
Rolex & Omega, sure, keep the riff raff confined someplace. For those with actual taste and a sense of what a good watch is like, we don't need a separate forum for each of our brands

Re: Seiko Forum?
I don't really like brand forums and don't like too many sub forums... too many places to check and .... either it is a diver or not, ... and then swiss, german, or asian... to me everything else is overkill, especially with the activity/membership level here... of course not counting the sales forums and off topic rumble room which are separate entities and needed.
I don't know, get too big and too many sub forums and you become wus and tz and even 3T, not to mention the site becomes a navigation nightmare.

Good points. Lets not get nuts here with the t3 comparisons though

Nothin against Seiko, but I don't think we need anymore subforums. Maybe as the site grows and gets more posts it will be good to have later, but now there's not enough traffic to spread between too many subforms.

Re: Seiko Forum?
Neck and neck right now, but jason_recliner's pillow biter status is pulling away with a quick lead.
It just dawned on me, and not to short-change the Orient, Citizen and G-shock crowd, but Seiko has a pretty extensive history, especially in terms of their autos. From their divers to the chronos/speedtimers to their Bellmatics, there's lots of ground to cover for those that are truly interested. I was sorta on the fence about this one, but I believe I'm in the yes camp. Flame on haters.

Re: Seiko Forum?
I voted no but could see a Seiko/Citizens forum...

Re: Seiko Forum?
keep it simple
I still laugh about the time WUS decided to rename the Seiko/Citizen/Orient forum to something else. Such drama.

Re: Seiko Forum?
The Japanese forum is, by default, a Seiko/Citizen forum 99% of the time (with the other 1% being G-Shocks), so I think we're good without another dedicated forum.

I think we need more forums, if I'm ever gonna get hired as a jet setting, free watch reviewing moderator. The bottom line is that I've got my first junket picked out already. I'll even wear a Seiko or a Kobold if that is what it takes ...

Awesome idea! I vote we each create our own subforum that we can moderate. Free watches for everybody!

I think it restricts discussion. Besides, what do you accomplish with a Seiko forum? You'll just have a bunch of people joining posting threads like "Check out my new Monster!!!" and "Seiko lume is teh bestest!!1111!!!" and the occasional "hardlex is better than sapphire and here is why (the answer is I am a re-tard):
