Need Deployant Help......

Post by SCM64 » Fri Apr 30, 2010 6:00 pm

I would like to change the Deployant on this to something blasted or possibly brushed.

Any links to some sites would be much appreciated.

And looking for a cool deployant, as I mentioned...

This one is polished, and it's nice....just not sure it works with the 757.

I've had a lot of success with Strapped For Time and The Watch Prince. SFT has unbranded Breitling deployants that are a bit cooler than the standard butterfly or diver deployant. It's the kind that the tail end of the strap goes on the inside. Very reasonable prices too BTW.

I'll check those out. David, thanks.

Found this at StrapCulture. May have to go with a buckle now... I hat that to put that beating on the strap, but I guess that's the price you pay for being able to do something funky.

Ok, so I am open to buckles too!

I saw some once with crossed daggers cut into the buckle and flame burnt, to make it darker. Can't seem to find that link now.

Liking this as it is rounded and not flared. Seems that might make it less likely to catch on something.

Thanks, he does have some nice ones. They seem better fits though for something a bit more dressy.

I'm thinking a buckle is what I am going to need now.

Guess I am looking for a "tool" buckle.

And yea, I have been drinking.

Jay (MCWW) does bead blasting, but i think it would just be cheaper buying a blasted or PVD buckle.

There is a guy on WUS selling bead blasted Sparta buckles. I have a brushed one and they are pretty nice.

I just happen have the PVD StrapCulture pirate buckle sitting in my watch drawer. I can't seem to find the perfect strap for it. Mine is 24mm though. I'm guessing you're looking for 22mm instead?
