Nice one C. Where did you get it?
I'm guessing RiverRat will have some info on it.

Desta watch co was a Swiss watch company one of many that did not survive the 1960's.I looked on the net seen info from others searching for info even looked in a few books I got and no info.Only thing I found was they were making watches in the 1960's and they were located in Switzerland.I got a similar watch from a company from the 1960's I never heard of it 's a hand wind diver took it in trade it needs a service one of these days I will do it.

Ok I found out this is actually a Tressa watch, Desta is the brand name they used in the French market. SO this diver started out in the French market mid sixties and eventually found it's way to me.

Very cool Caesar.
Reminds me of a 62mas Seiko diver.

BINGO, and thanks, Dave.... I was about to pull my last few hairs out trying to remember what that watch reminded me of. Kick ass piece.

I just think it's cool that it probably started out in France, then found it's way to the West Coast of the US (Ca) and finally after 40+ years ended up in Philly.

Hi I have a few Desta watches and one I can't find a flipping thing on one way or the other. This is the most I've found on them here.

I have no idea what type of watch it's supposed to be. It's case and compressor crowns are exactly like a King orient. Except those are Japanese watches and this is pure swiss. Any help would rock. Sorry I've been in inactive for a bit.
