Ditto. The original and one and only. Looks awfully familiar, that one, esp the case, bezel edges, and bracelet.

when i first glanced at that link, I thought it said "rectum"

Cant these turds come up with something on their own!! Lets put a seiko dial and crown position at 4 on a doxa case and bracelet, pre-sell the shit out of them and close the dooors down before anyone can complain!!!

The owner says--"the goal was to design a high quality dive watch"
Didn't he really mean?, "the goal was to copy a high quality dive watch"...
Give me a break ... all for $495...

I was willing to not be too harsh, till I clicked the 3D rendering and saw the bezel grip. Just a little too familiar.

What really sucks about that is that it shows the DOXA case, bezel, bracelet has successfully been faked. We never had to worry about fake DOXAs showing up before, except the frankened vintage ones. Now we are going to have to be on our toes.

The carbon fiber doesn't feel right with the case. With a different dial and hands it would be a better Doxa homage.

So how do you know that this has been "faked". It would not surprise me if the private label manufacturer for Doxa decided to make a little coin on the side.

i would bet the farm that DOXA bought the tooling so who ever makes their cases couldnt sell them to anyone else! That being said you could buy a doxa and do what longio did to L&B schaumburg! If i called a couple people names would sound like some guy we know sittin' all by himself at his lil' forum!!!

Faked probably wasn't the right choice of words. I had to piss real bad and was typing that response in a hurry. What I meant is that the DOXA case and related components have been copied and marketed. IF they can be marketed by whatever the name of the company at the top of this thread is, then they can be bought and sold with fake DOXA dials, etc on them as well. In short, the replica DOXA case is now out there.

Its still an ugly case-no matter whose name is on the dial.

Regardless of the words used, how do we know it is a copy? It could be something similar to the Fricker/Vortex thing....
Does anyone actually know which company makes the DOXA watches?

I guess DOXA has all but grown up ;-)
Come on now guys, imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, at least that is what everyone says when sporting their PAM and sub homages.
However, I have to vote thumbs down. I think a carbon fiber dial is a poor choice for a DOXA inspired piece and the dial printing just looks boring. It would be kind of funny though, in a sick, pathetic, lump in the pit of your stomach kind of way if the case/bracelet was from the same supplier as DOXA uses.

A big thumbs down on this one.
A hommage is one thing, but this is way to close to Doxa for comfort IMO. Beads of rice bracelet, case shape and bezel...almost identical.
It's funny that over at 3T they are bashing the Zinex Trimix because it looked to similar too a certain vintage diver. Now they are all over this Irreantum watch acting like it is the best thing since swiss cheese. Funny how that works isn't it.

Zinex isn't hiding anything from anyone. After owning a Trimix and seeing first hand the quality of the piece-regardless of price which is awesome-my opinion is Joe runs a top notch outfit and his pieces reflect that. I don't see how you can even come close to bashing Zinex in any way-looks is just opinion. I use Zinex as a metric-If you bash them your're a deuche bag-which exactly fits the bill with 3T.
