Have you taken him to a vet to see if he's chipped?
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

Great Pyrenees, we have had 4 of the over the years. Great guys only issue their prone to cancer.
