That's great! My daughter wanted a longboard for her bday last year.
Went to Boardlife, they have a build your own longboard deal where they pick the board, trucks, wheels, risers and deck tape..
She got her graphics laser engraved... Sharing your love and recreational passions with your daughter is awesome!
Nice setup!

They would be way to wild for me.

I did the samething in the 80's. They were cruiser boards.
Torrid wrote:Cool! My 6 year old just told me a couple weeks ago she wanted a skateboard. I guess it's the in thing for girls right now.
Heath I don't if it is "in" here really, she has been trying to skateboard since we put her on one at the age of 2. So she loves it.

I initially wondered who Terry Williams was when I opened my email this afternoon - and why he sent me three emails.
You would think so but it ended being one of the best selling days for the TN store ever.

That's fantastic!!

Man Terry, she's all growd up

A strong father daughter relationship is a very cool thing and she'll grow up to be a very confident women. Good on you for spending quality time doing something you both enjoy! Oh geese I'm getting all serious and philosophical! Skate or die!

Thanks guys. Honestly my wife says she has "two kids" when we are together because if we aren't outside skating or playing basketball then we are wrestling. My wife didn't have any parental guidance at all when she was growing up so we are doing our very best to be there for my daughter and step-son.
Oh and NO C.O.C for my daughter, yet that is

I just went and ordered her some wheels, bearings, risers, grip tape, truck hardware, trucks and a new board (complete setup) for me with shipping for $127. You can beat that.

Yesterday, I was able finally to show my daughter how to set up her board.

^^^yes I have the trucks facing the wrong direction
She liked this part, where I was showing her how to put on the grip tape and cut it with a round file
Any my new board for $57

Yeah yeah, but they look cool and match the Caballero golden dragon on the board.
I might eventually. I can feel the difference after riding two different boards with one having these style of wheels.
