If you're from KY and your parents get divorced, are they still brother and sister??

Re: New guy from KY
Thanks again all. Brad warned me about some of you LOL. And to finish his police/military thought, I'm a former Marine and a retired state police sergeant. Website on my profile is my bill payer now. I own Seikos because their entry level and I like them, but I'm an Omega and Tag fan. I like Rolexes, Panerai, Hamilton, and non-busy chronos of all makes. Appreciate your patience with me being a novice.

Welcome.
Yes and we can even tell the correct time with them as well.
Jeff makes it sound like we have one watch we share. Technically we are the only 4 people in Ky that have a watch and can tell time. I know, culture shock, right?!

Nah, I know you guys have your own watches. Now, I'm not sure if you all have your own shoes, but who cares, this isn't a shoe forum.BSears wrote:59yukon01 wrote:jswing wrote:Wait, so there are FOUR people in KY that have a watch??![]()

I kid, I kid. I like KY. I was there once whitewater kayaking. Beautiful country.

Ah that's like a scene from Deliverance!
(which wasn't Kentucky, by the way)

I have to admit, the banjo song went through my head a few times on our Southern trip.BSears wrote:Ah that's like a scene from Deliverance!(which wasn't Kentucky, by the way)

At one point we were harassed by a guy with a hook for an arm, but I'm pretty sure that was WV. This rapid is actually in TN I believe, but we put on in KY. It was one of the best trips ever. People were very friendly (for the most part, not counting those that chased us with hooks) and were always interested in seeing who were these crazy nuts in tiny boats about to kill themselves. One day an entire church emptied out to watch us take off, and several warned us we would not survive.

Welcome Steve.
Hillbillies in Kentucky? You guys should travel the mountains and hollows (hallers) of North Georgia.
Even the dogs have "summer teeth" - some are here, some are there...

you'll soon learn that not all seikos are entry level, but you'll find most of us here appreciate seiko's entire vertical scope. it's a strong selling point for me that there are very few "watch snobs" here, and most members at least look for the value in everything at every level (some even invicta).
enjoy your time here, there's lots to glean.
and sometimes it's even about watches...
i gotta ask: "preacher"?

Welcome.
Also, did the OP ever answer the "state or company" KY question?

No Steve was smart enough not to go down that path. But he's putting his Marine and state trooper experience to good use these days.
