As of my last post on the former site I was about to set off on a conference trip to Prague, and as I was away from the fora for a few months, I was unaware of what had taken place in my absence.
Big thanks to Steven (scm64) for guiding me here, without a doubt my favourite place on the web to hang out.For those of you to whom I'm unfamiliar: I'm an Aussie ex-pat now residing way down south in Dunedin, New Zealand. I'm a PhD candidate currently struggling with a thesis that explores transgressive body/identity politics in the writing of Irish author James Joyce (or something like that).
Sadly, as a struggling student with a small family, I'm currently stony broke. My one and only watch love is my trusty Omega smp 2254. Last year I sold a Benarus Barracuda, and a Zinex Trimix (in aid of my Prague trip). The Trimix is sorely missed...
