Damn it! I'd love to make the drive down from Fort Worth, but my folks decided to come visit us at the last minute. Take lots of pics, guys.

Not a bad time... About 40 people showed up and a couple 2-300 watches... Got to meet Carter/Wristi which was a bonus  all in all a good time! Isofrane/Doxa/Aquadive stepped up big time and gave away isofrane straps, coffee table books and other goodies

HOUSTON GTG SPONSORED BY ISOFRANE

Post by the_time_cop » Sat Jul 25, 2015 7:08 pm

Thank you, Brandon (BZ) and Wristi, for bringing in the 'heavy hardware'. You both have collections that are truly bad ass!

50 signed up, 40 showed, which isn't bad at all. This is something that will happen about every six months in the Houston area, so suggestions are always welcomed.

I've got a few ideas myself that I feel will throw a future event into top gear.

As Brandon mentioned, a huge thanks to ISOFRANE, Aquadive, Doxa, Spring Creek Barbecue and my great friends, as without them, our hobby would be meaningless.

So did DWC reign supreme? Either way, numbers wise, it wouldn't matter.

Hey Ariel, did you sell another sentimental watch during the event?

Nice hardware out there - and nice close up of that JLC. ;) Brandon, I know you brought the lumber. But who posted the "Hello. For sale" sign up?

Another favorite I missed. I need a Bremont!

This vintage gold Zenith El Primero was pretty hot in its own right:

For a Sumo, not half bad.

Some good stuff there. That's a nice shot of the Bremont. And the vintage El Primero is sweet!

Sorry, I missed my flight. TSA caught me smuggling 30 goat eyeballs up my ass. Next time for sure, as long as I make bail.
