Took me ages to get that terpits. I'm clearly out of practice. Picked the wrong handle for this forum. Should have gone with my second choice.
Can anyone explain the nick reference? An inside joke relating to a light footed fellow perhaps?
I'm slow off the mark today.

get it either. But no worries, cause that's how it rolls here! Best to PM the member who first brought it up and hope for a sober answer.(good luck with that) Glad to have you aboard Mr_Gray.....and the best advice is to drop and roll..... and of coarse

It's my fault. I didn't have my glasses before and I thought your name was "m_gray".mr_gray wrote:Took me ages to get that terpits. I'm clearly out of practice. Picked the wrong handle for this forum. Should have gone with my second choice.

Re: new member mr_gray
hi there and thanks for the great welcome.
really liked this
"It's my fault. I didn't have my glasses before and I thought your name was "m_gray"." we don't use the term much in australia but i do believe that is a zinger!
enjoying digging around the threads.
some of the opinions on watch aesthetics are things i've been dying to say but haven't found the right venue for. plus anytime i want a big laugh i go and check out the thread where that dude with the hat is trying to sell his TT.

nah more the jewellery rolex models and the TT. i haven't really seen much of these really strong looking dive watches before so it's new to me and interesting. things like GP sea hawk and kalmar etc.
Re: new member mr_gray
Enviable collection to be sure! Man, the watches people own on this forum are intimidating.
Re: new member mr_gray
I don't own the sub anymore so really it's a HULK and a Speedie. And I feel very lucky to have that HULK. Alot of stuff came together for that to happen.
I was looking at "classic threads" and though I could not read the thread, I found the note left for Nick on his windscreen. Now I get the "are you Nick's Steve". Nice link up with my name too. Burn!
This place has a good feel to it. Not many places in this day you can imply someone who isn't your brother or good friend is a homo!
