Seamaster on Gasgasbones

Post by suddha » Mon Dec 21, 2009 1:52 pm

Adam (craniotes) is a great guy. After I got rid of my Submariner, I sold him my Gasgasbones strap. Well, I asked him if he was using it and he offered to send it back at no charge, for use with my Seamaster Pro. What generosity... :gayumbrella:

Anyway, this strap on this watch makes it a great sports watch in the true sense of the word. The watch weighs next to nothing now, is super comfortable and has a very tactical look, especially with the blasted watch finish. Will be a great companion for most of the stuff I do when the Ploprof is too heavy - running, cycling, etc.. But I am getting a Gasgasbones made for the PP as well.

And for the hell of it, a gratuitous Ploprof shot.

This has to be one of my all time favorite straps. I received my first one when I bought a Sea Devil. When I sold it, it stayed with me. I use it as often as I can, very comfortable no matter how thick your timepiece is. Looking sharp on the Omega Suddha.

I'm glad to see that it found its way back to you safe and sound, Jason. It looks great on your custom 2254, just as the good Lord intended.

We'll talk about that beer you owe me when you finally make it over to the city (though as I said before, if it's Red Bar, then I can't let you pay).

Regards,
Adam

PS - A GGB on the PloProf is going to be SICK!

Looks great on that strap. I never appreciated the GGB's until now.
And nice gesture, Adam.

Strap looks great!

I took a peek at the site (which is "down" while current orders are being filled).

Is the strap on yours the V2?

He's down again? Busy guy! Yes, I think it's the V2 SS.

Keep coming back and looking at this. Love the blasted finish on the SMP. That was the only thing that made me trade mine - the shiny parts. Awesome watch.

Thanks, Paul. Yeah, I didn't think I'd like the blasted finish as much as I do. I guess I don't really know what on the SMP would have been polished anyway. But this is exactly how I want it now. The painted markers and matte finish, with the GGB strap. Makes me miss my old Sub a little less. :crybaby:
