I wore a Seiko, they seemed pretty prevalent at the time. Later on the Chronosports became popular.

Did a SPIE/STABO recert with a bunch of different teams recently lots of G-shocks and Suunto's and even a few Timex's.

It's an insertion/extraction rig to get guys out of tight places fast by hanging them underneath a chopper. SPIE - Special Patrol Insertion Extraction. I forget what STABO stands for but it's similar, I/E rig.


* Ok, I remember while sitting at the kitchen table drinking coffee the STABO unit was a SF design. Sorry my memory isn't that great anymore.
