I would bet a paycheck that over 95% of specops/divers/eod/ct/ranger/recon, etc... wear either Gshocks, Casios or Suuntos.

I wore a Seiko, they seemed pretty prevalent at the time. Later on the Chronosports became popular.

Did not see a none digital anywhere...

It's an insertion/extraction rig to get guys out of tight places fast by hanging them underneath a chopper. SPIE - Special Patrol Insertion Extraction. I forget what STABO stands for but it's similar, I/E rig.

* Ok, I remember while sitting at the kitchen table drinking coffee the STABO unit was a SF design. Sorry my memory isn't that great anymore.
