Cool thread.....

I use all these as beaters, even though a few are a bit more costly than traditional beaters. Hard use watches rock.

Beaters?
These four all continue to endure some very rough use. They've been rode hard, put up wet, and have significant wabi to show for it:

These next four guys used to mix it up plenty. They've all had their share of hard knocks and carry a few battle scars.
But they've all been taking a break from the rough-and-tumble of late:

To tell the truth, I can't consider any of my watches as "beaters" per se, in as much as if I really think they're gonna get a beating, I take 'em off.

Please tell me that you didn't put the Titan C I just bought from you through the same test :tap:

My Eco-Drive gets pretty hard use. Sometimes have a quartz based watch is not such a bad thing :)

Tian Jin Jun Shi
Seagull movement
Saphire cryztal
Rolly Homage limited edition
Chinese Naval Officers watch, Bought it in 2010 while in China from Tao Bao and paid about $80 Aus for it
Didn't expect it to last long
Ha!! It has hardly left my wrist travelled around the world been in Indian oven many times also Pacific ocean, South China Sea, assorted swimming pools
Hot showers, has been Dropped many times, lost and found once, knocked against door frames and auto underbody, dragged along the stone wall and dog tried to chew it up!
Keeps perfect time always!
In hindsight I wished I had looked after it better but it is what it is! ImageImage

Normally I’d be pissed that you bumped an 8 year old thread, but this brought back some good memories.

Also a reminder of how much Photobucket screwed us all.
