Thanks man. We’re settling in for a while and maybe even overnight. Heard there were 20 cars off the road. Not sure how long it will be closed.hoppyjr wrote:Safe travels.BacoNoir wrote:It might be time to switch from the Omega Seamaster to the Rolex Polar Explorer II. They’ve closed Interstate 70 going over the Continental divide, so we’ve pulled off the highway and are making soup for lunch in the RV.

If I were in your RV I’d camp out and let the crazies do their sliding and crashing. No reason to take chances. Fix a sammich, Netflix & chill.BacoNoir wrote:Thanks man. I love beater watches. Can wear them without worrying about scratches and it really takes direct light to be able to see all the scratches (like this).

Thanks. It reopened about 30 minutes later and we made it home just before dark. We were totally prepared to hang out for the night if we needed to. We have lithium batteries, propane heat/hot water, and a generator if needed.gr8sw wrote:nice setup you got there!BacoNoir wrote: ↑Mon Nov 20, 2023 2:05 pmThanks man. Exactly how I feel about my ExpII. Love it and all its scratches and dings. I wear it for any occasions really.matt.wu wrote:I love beater watches. Can wear them without worrying about scratches and it really takes direct light to be able to see all the scratches (like this).
