Mine has it too.

It’s called bad quality control. I mentioned it in my review of the one I had, where I thought it was a little wonky, but looking at my pics and yours, mine looked great compared to what yours and Chris has. I chalked it up to being at $200 watch, but yours and Chris’s looks terrible.Jeep99dad wrote:And what’s this line that stands out between date and day.
Mine has it too.
It was shipped from Blaine, Washington. It was on a pillow inside a box. Not a scrap of bubble wrap or other packing material inside. I know it’s a cheap watch, but this was bad. If someone sent me a used Seiko like this I’d have been pissed.JDC222 wrote:Do you know if it was shipped from Vancouver, BC or from Utah Chris? I picked mine up, they sized the bracelet and gave me an extra strap. I've known the guys there for decades, let me know if you want me to chat with them...odd that they would have packed it poorly!
Mine was shipped in same manor.CGSshorty wrote:It was shipped from Blaine, Washington. It was on a pillow inside a box. Not a scrap of bubble wrap or other packing material inside. Don’t go out of your way or anything, but if you happen to speak to them I wouldn’t mind the help. Maybe they can address these issues with their packaging.
I will chat with them this coming week...Ill let you know.CGSshorty wrote: ↑Sat May 13, 2023 8:23 amIt was shipped from Blaine, Washington. It was on a pillow inside a box. Glad you are getting a new one. I picked one up at Windup in SF, two weekends ago. Though sold out, they had held some stock back, for the event. They gave me the choice of black or orange strap. I have since gotten an extra strap, and the bracelet. I did notice, that, on mine, there is that annoying separation between the day and date. As for the quick release tropic strap, I have not noticed that it seems unsecure, in any way:CGSshorty wrote:Ended up with 5. Must have been a glitch in the matrix or something. I received the same answer, from the actual guy who sold me my watch, at Windup, in SF. He also told me he was on the hunt for the Zodiac, I was wearing, at the event.JDC222 wrote:I received this reply back from a Momentum Marketing guy;
“I thought I would add some additional context to your other point too. The space you mentioned between the day and date is how Ronda makes their movements and is not a defect with your particular watch or anything like that. We discussed the idea of making two windows (one for day, the other for date) but opted against it to remain as faithful as possible to the original Sea Quartz 30. I hope this provides some clarity! “
