No kids, so my wife will get them all, which most likely she will sell. My nephews may be interested, but they'll have to work that out. Can't take them with you. Would if I could...

Your “Dad’s watch”

I gave my son my 16570 Explorer II Polar last year and he had given me my SD 16600 for my retirement. So the latter will go to him for sure as well.

My daughter is really not into watches, though I bought her a few over the years. So not sure if a watch is something she would want. Who knows?

Her daughter, my youngest granddaughter, will get my circa 1867 (not a watch) grandfather’s clock she has admired since she was 2!!! My grandfather passed this onto me. It keeps time at +/- 10-15 seconds a day!!! Not bad for a 155 year old time piece.

Probably this one. I mostly wear it around the house as it gets too much attention when wearing it out. I completely love it and it's my favorite and the kids know that. I'll probably ask them to bury me with it though 🤠.

This one. I wore it when my kids were born, I hope to pass it on one day.

For me it’d be my 2500 that my wife bought me as a gift. It’s the one that I wear the most by far. My daughter isn’t really into watches and wears a Garmin for training for marathons etc… so she probably would put it in a box and maybe pass it on to my granddaughter if she doesn’t just sell it or something. She’s not very sentimental.
My dad wore a Seiko that went to another family member. I’d like to have had it but it wasn’t meant to be. I have my great grandfather’s timex and my stepdad’s Breitling chronograph that I’m looking to have restored.

Your “Dad’s watch”

My daughter (8) has a Minions FitBit and a translucent pink Baby G-Shock. She likes watches, my wife has half a dozen Breitlings and a slew of other watches, and I’m hovering at ~10 pieces these days.

All that being said, I wear my No Date Sub the most, and will likely give her that (or a NOS 2014 birth year No Date) when she turns 25 or finishes grad/professional school.

My 16600. My most "me" watch, and the one I've had since my kids were really little.

My Dad gave this to me back in 2013 after 30 years with his company. I wear it on special occasions including the day my daughter was born. It’ll be hers when the time is right. Image

My dad’s watch was a sundial with a stick in the mud on whatever job he was on.

I have the watch I most associated with my dad, which was his 21st birthday present. My brother has his DJ.
