Just got this one in from Japan yesterday! So far I'm impressed, finish is great, lume is unreal, the sapphire is a nice upgrade, and the bracelet seems like it is a notch above the usual Seiko offerings at this price point. I haven't sized the bracelet yet because I'm not patient enough to deal with pins/collars, but I'll get that handled soon enough. For now it's on a ToxicNATOS green strap.

I have a bracelet for a 777 at my local jeweler for re-sizing since I didn't want to screw it up and they ended up sending it out. Should learn how to do the pin and collar myself or send it to Terry

Pretty much the case with every watch Seiko releases as soon as the shitty renderings surface. The final product is always 1000x better.

Does anyone know if the 051 will come on rubber at any point? Seems the blue is rubber and black steel band?

I actually love the blue's bezel colouring but not it's dial colour. The black bezel almost has a coloured look to it in certain lights and would be the one I'd go for (after initially wanting blue based on renderings)

Been eyeing the blue version of this one. I like that Seiko kept it reasonably sized instead of blowing it up to 44mm+ like the bulk of the Prospex line.
