We all have different tastes. Some of us just want the most bang for the buck regardless of "design" provenance. I'm that moron.

Bad move to share that link here on a post full of positive feedback.
Are you not the one that started the post there with the comparison to the luxmento and that you would never give your money to Todd?? You are watches503 correct?
Yup. That's what I just said replying to doink doink. I'm that moron that wouldn't give Todd my money but I'd buy a preowned grey one.

It's a bad move for Todd to share a link of that thread of another forum to this forum.

I also said here on DWC that I'm watches503 on my WTB Baltic Shield and Turtle thread. So yeah. But I left it there until doink doink brought it up.
Sorry if I am being the moron instead.

Isn't your logic the same as telling a judge that you hire someone to kill instead of doing the killing yourself?

You could also see it as...

The watch looks so amazing and irresistible that nothing will stop me from buying it.

It will be mine one day.

Move on, kids.

Let's get back to positive energy here from before Todd decided to share the link.

Some have attempted to do so but you're not letting it.

Congrats to all that receive their awesome Baltic Shield soon and to those that have already.

So you follow up by blaming Todd?

Try apologizing for being a prick and maybe we move on. Maybe.

You seem to follow up one dick move with another.

I stand by my words 100%. I don't do fake apologies, that's just dishonest.

Image

Todd did that design on left, not me, I don't photoshop, Todd did that carbon fiber pic. He shared that on Facebook and then the community helped him develop it into the awesome watch that many are about to receive.

Angelo Cafazzo of Luxmento Watch Company had to reach out to Todd and he decided to switch the design of the 12 o' clock hour marker to the final design.

I was so impressed by specs, even knowing the provenance of the design all this, that you can blame Todd for me being here. He mentioned somewhere that DWC members get a $50 discount. So I joined DWC immediately after seeing this post, if I recall correctly.

Image

I didn't follow through with preorder and
I'd still love to get the grey one obviously.

No one will receive a fake apology from me.

If anyone wants to PM me with any thoughts you have, I won't but let's start switching to some good vibes here.

Note to Todd,

You mentioned the urinating part directing funny words to me but if you click on the link that you felt the need to share, you'll see I wasn't the one that wrote that.

I wish you and your company lots of success. You made the Baltic Shield happen and we will all love it. The Treudd will be amazing too.

Luis

PS: Your Baltic Shield might be the best deal of 2016, congrats !

Quoted for posterity, so you can't edit later.

You joined here to save $50, good for you.

Still an asshole.

Mine will be delivered today but it'll be way dark by the time I get home. I'll try to get some decent indoors pics.

Clearly you have not fully grasped the rule of new watch delivery day. You enter a "client visit" or "doctor's appointment" in your Calendar and bolt the office, no questions asked. Face any consequences later, knowing your new watch will help you through it.
Sort of like Green Lantern's ring.
