Dive Watch Beaters

Post by reggie748 » Mon Feb 01, 2016 12:33 pm

Well it is Dive Watch Connection so here's my daily dive watch beater. I'm a contractor so it does see some shit but it just keeps strollin' on.

I love seeing a bad ass tool watch used like a bad ass tool watch should be used. Nice.

I don't know about the sapphire suggestion. I might just keep mineral in there so it'll scratch instead of shatter (especially if it is thinner glass).

My wife has shattered her Sportura (100m water resistant) sapphire twice without doing anything more than stay-at-home mom stuff. Sapphire has its place, but in truly rough environments where the watch will get banged around, I'd rather deal with scratches than a crack or shatter.
