My new SMP 2254.50...

Post by andrema » Tue Dec 29, 2009 1:49 pm

I have been looking for one of these in excellent condition for a while...well, I finally found one. I picked this Omega Seamaster Pro up a week or so ago and it is awesome! It basically is BNIB...the only thing that was touched was the caseback...which I had mixed feelings about. This watch was picked up on e-bay. The person selling it DID NOT have the COSC card or warranty card so they had the back opened up to check the movement...well, when I got it I did too . I really don't mind the missing cards, because this thing is absolutely perfect (never sized and no scratches anywhere)...Oh yeah, I got it for a great price too!!

Here are some pictures:

Oh yeah...I took a picture of the movement while I was at my watchmaker...

Sweet! I guess there are still some good deals to be had on the bay. Glad the movement and everything else checked out. Congrats!

Lovely watch, would love to have one some day.

Congrats on a great watch.

Picked mine up just over a year ago on the sales forums, wear it every day in every situation and love it. Subsisting on
"1 watch" at the moment, and this is a great 1 to have. Enjoy wearing yours.

Big Congrats. I'm not sure I've seen anyone open the hood on the SMP before. Sortof like Breitlings, no one wants to remove the caseback so they are very rarely seen, ime.

Really interesting to see the 1120 and the very nice finishing on the movement.

A few weeks back I saw a BNIB w/o warranty card blue SMP with Bond bracelet go for $900 shipped on the bay. Seller had 100% feedback but not many transactions, so I passed under the "too good to be true" mantra.

Turned out the buyer left perfect feedback and the watch was absolutely Mint Perfect.
