Re: Why the 750 gap?

look at the date window on the bottom one its alot closer to the bezel and the center paint line off it going toward the center of the dial is alot longer?? I don't know this for sure, but I would be willing to venture a small wager, based on the quoted statement and observation above. Given that t...

Wow!

Now I happen to be a watch addict myself.

But Seriously!....

Dare I say it?

That's just too many watches!

Oh,... And I think you need a U1.

Re: This VS That

I desided early in my WISdom that the Zenith with the El Primero movement was at the very top of my wish list. Although my financial wherewithall still lacks the stuff to get me there, it remains my most desired timepiece. I mean, come on guys, 36000 bph! However the late ninties Rainbow flyback in ...

Re: Thoughts on this? NOT a Doxa

Personally, I like the UTS offerings. This one particularly, although I would only use it as a wristwatch , and then only on the bracelet. The other "stuff" with it only appeals to me as far as flippability goes. This particular one looks like it has seen plenty of wrist time, but in my opinion that...

Re: Opinions? Are Gevril watches worth the prices they comma

Hey Dom, thanks for that input. The model I'm thinking about is a 4015. Seller claims that it has a genuine eta 2837. If true this is a hard to find movement, highbeat at 36000 bph. The watchis definately stylish in my opinion, but I have been wanting a watch with this movement for a long time now. ...

Opinions? Are Gevril watches worth the prices they command?

I am thinking on one of these.

Anyone have any real life experience with this brand?

I've never seen a review or read a comment from any WIS....

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all!

Cheers!

A forum member just sold this: http://www.thedivewatchconnection.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=6505 Too late to snatch this one, but the watch should meet all your criteria. A great Sinn watch without the bulk of the U1. Otherwise, I am always quick to promote the PO. The 42mm version should fit sm...

My wife is starting to "get it" about the watches for me... She just don't like the mechanicals.... Anywho, she recently lost her beloved Movado that I gave her a few years ago. I finally noticed that she wasn't wearing it for a couple of weeks and asked her about it. She broke down crying and told ...

The SEAL is an odd one. It is a bit silly really. . . 1000M water resistance? Why? Also, it is a bit of a waste on the wrist because no one recognizes the SEAL when I wear it. If I pay thousands of my hard earned dollars, I want people to know that I’ve attained a certain financial status. The SEAL...

I just checked, this is far past my posts in WUS, where I've been a member for a few years already too.

I got tired of geting my hand slapped over there.
