Re: Vintage Le Jour Dive Watch Questions
If you have a good vintage watchmaker you use let him take a look at it. He can give you a quote for a service and parts needed like crystal and crown and maybe a stem. Parts are tough to find on vintage watches avoid fixer upper’s needing parts better if all it needs is a movement service. If a bez...

Before we went overseas, we got a week class how to handcuff and use a ...

Re: Congratulations, Todd! NJ the most Outbound State
I bought the property in the early 1990's in a way it sad for the locals the houses sale for Cal. prices, but wages are low like it was before the jump in rent and mortgages. I guess some are moving back to California. Had a good friend who moved from California to Oregan after he retired. Think the wife might have got home sick for California. He had four acres out in the country and did a lot of work on the house and had to sell to keep her happy kind of bad timing wi...

One thing you never have to move your sleeve up to see the time. But not a watch you would want to just wear a T-shirt or a short sleeve shirt with it would look odd.

Re: Been going out of control on Ships clock another incomming.
Well got the part that was missing on the dial. It was called a reflector. I guess on the newer clock the holes on the reflector are in a different spot so had to drill new hole to fit right. One thing about these larger Chelsea Pilot House Clocks they have such wall presence and just stand out just...
