Re: The reluctant seller - I guess I have issues!

I thought I had two groups... keepers and flippers... but lately, I've been flipping my keepers also so  They're not mutually exclusive. Watches can migrate between groups from day to day and sometimes reside in both. dude those are some nice shots of your Kobold... how'd you get y...

You look so comfortable and natural there. Look - you can pee and shave at the same time. How convenient!

You gotta get those issues resolved. It's hard to fall in love with a watch that has issues.

I like to keep my watches to single digits. Sell everything but the top two or three keepers. It's hard in the beginning, but you get used to it! :bananastoner:

Re: Very detailed review of the Seiko 7s26 workhorse...

Sawtooth is a quartz, so no 7s26 in there. I'm sure you guys already knew that, but seeing as this is a 7s26 thread, I just thought I'd make sure you guys knew.

And it has hardlex................. :bird:

I should know, it was one of my first watch purchases after joining WUS.

Kobold Lume Shots

This is for Roar who keeps ragging on Kobold lume. I finally got around to my first attempt at lume shots. Haven't got it down yet, but they'll have to do for now. This is my Soarway Diver - superluminova hands (not tritium). The infamous "Kobold lume" days are over... :bootyshake: :nutkick: http://...

Congrats, a very nice choice! I openly admit I have never a Panerai fan, just never liked them and was frankly ignorant about the brand...but slowly they have grown on me. So, as further evidence about my Panerai ignorance, let me slow pitch a softball to all you PAM-heads out there: If the brand i...

Re: Trade suggestion, please help me out fellas!

Unfamiliar with resale values, but if you're going to do a trade just to turn around and flip again, you better be sure you're getting the better end of the trade. Now, with two watches instead of one, not only will you get hit with paypal fees, but you'll get double hit on shipping charges plus the...

ED! WOW. That's a far cry from everything you were considering, but a BEAUTIFUL choice. Which letter series did you get. Huge congrats on the pickup. I love the simple, unique styling offered by Panerai. Plus, if it was strap choices you wanted, it's now strap choices that you've got. Time to...

Congrats, David. 15 years! I'm coming up on 2, but can't wait for the years to come. My wife bought a Citizen for me for a wedding present. I really like the company and the technology. Enjoy it! Hey Mike - nice pickup. I do agree that brown would probably compliment the vintage styling the best. That 51mm lug-to-lug was surprising to me the first time I read the stats too. Looks great though!

The execution of the applied markers on this watch is EXACTLY how Doxa should have done the markers on the 5000T. The overly square and chunky applied markers on the 5000T turns me off on the watch.

Don, so great to see the pics. Nice to have some warm pics while it's chilly for most of the rest of us!

Also cool to see you bonding with the AD. I know the first inkling was to flip it, but great to see that it's become a great fit for you.
